Less reminding. More getting it done.

Nobody teaches you how to do life. Jarmer holds the chores, the life admin and the someday list, and hands you the one next thing, right on your lock screen.

For you, for two, or a whole house. iPhone, in a private beta. Free to start.

What's going on right now?

On your own, things slip. Together, someone ends up reminding everyone else. Jarmer holds it instead.

Nobody decided who does what. It just landed on someone.

Answer the house rules on your own, see where you already agree, and let chores take turns from day one.

A move, hosting, a trip: lead times nobody tells you about.

Give Jarmer the date. It plans backwards and hands each thing to whoever's doing it, when it's time.

Doing life on your own is still a lot to carry.

The next thing on your lock screen, chores that come round, your goals and the dates that matter. Built for one, ready for more.

Chores that take turns

Fair, without keeping score.

Chores come round when they're getting due and take turns through everyone. Skip a week and nothing piles up.

  • Take turns, anyone, or one person.
  • Seasonal house care, remembered for you.

Big things come with lead times nobody tells you about.

How it works

  1. Get it out of your head

Say everything, in any order. Jarmer sorts it: one thing on Now, the rest put away.

  2. Your one next thing, on your lock screen

Done is right there, with a reason for every nudge. Most days you won't open the app.

  3. Hand it off, nicely

Ask someone to take it, trade a chore this once, or tap thanks. Requests, never reports.

  4. Reset once a week

Fifteen minutes together, or two on your own: sort what came in and pick the week.

No guilt, by design.

Chores are getting due, and that's as loud as it gets. A rough week shrinks everything to its smallest version.

Private where it counts.

Private tasks and your journal never reach anyone else's phone. AI only for whoever says yes. How we handle your data.

The lock screen, chores, lists and hand-offs are free for good. Jarmer Plus, for room to grow and AI help whenever you need it, is $4.99 a month or $34.99 a year, and one purchase covers everyone at home. Compare Free and Plus

Questions, answered

Who is Jarmer for?

Anyone doing life: on your own, as a couple, or a home of up to four. Anything that needs a second person stays out of the way until there is one.

Do I have to open the app every day?

No. Nudges come with their buttons, and the lock-screen widget ticks things off with a tap.

Does everyone at home need an iPhone?

No. Anyone on Android or a computer can use Jarmer in the browser, at jarmer.app/app: the same household, with pings that have Done and Snooze. The widgets, Live Activities and Watch are iPhone only.

Does Jarmer use AI?

A little, and only where it helps you get organized: sorting what you say, breaking a big thing into small steps, drafting a plan for a goal or a move. It suggests and you decide. Everyone at home says yes or no for themselves, and nothing you write trains AI. Prefer it fully manual? Turn AI help off in Settings. Everything else works just the same.

What does it cost?

Free to start. Jarmer Plus is $4.99 a month or $34.99 a year, and one purchase covers everyone at home. See pricing.
